The British Embassy in Monrovia and the Liberia National Academy of Music hosted “Harmony: A Concert of International Music” on 21 February, according to a press release published by FrontPageAfrica.
Held at St. Stephen Church on 10th Street, Sinkor, the free concert paired leading Liberian performers with visiting UK singers Michael Craddock and Lucy Cronin.
The programme ran across classical, traditional, pop and jazz music, and the embassy’s chargé d’affaires, Simon Tooth, spoke of music as a way to connect people of different backgrounds.
